About Alec

Alec Hoogland is a Potter working in South Bend, IN. In 2016, he graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in ceramics. Post-graduation, he spent time working in a production studio before leaving to pursue a career in clay.

With and extensive background in alternative firing processes, painting, and sculpture, Alec has decided to put his background in production to use. Highland is a project that he has created to work through new ideas and relationships between food and clay.
