Electric Firings

Pots in this collection were fired in my electric kiln in my home studio. Most of these pieces are decorated with slips and underglazes. Some of the decoration include sepia toned and color images. The sepia tone images are iron decals fired one to the pot. These images were created in collaboration with illustrator Marina Goodwin.

These pieces are created in congruence with the wood fired work in a constant exploration of the complexity of the urban and rural landscapes of the Midwest.

Most pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe.
